Mick jenkins vibe lyrics
Top 3 Standout Tracks: 8.7/10 Lyrics & Rhymes “Same Ol” hit too hard and was an excellent set-up for this EP, while the wordplay and lyric complexity of “Different Scales” was on a well… different scale… “Carefree” was just too smooth and refreshing to not make the list. The smooth vocals and instrumentals mean you almost won’t even realize how quickly you get through the EP until you reach the last track. Ok so during the first five days of this EP being out I have fully listened through it over thirty-two times, and it honestly gets better every time I listen through again and understand the underlying message a bit better. The only negative I can find about the narrative and vibe is that track two “The Light” felt like it belonged on Mirrorland (EarthGang’s debut studio album), with it feeling like Mick is featuring on the track. In fact if not for the nineteen-minute listening length you wouldn’t be mistaken for assuming that The Circus was built like an album. The EP flows seamlessly between each track flitting between hard and chilled tracks you can vibe with. The quality of the first track sets the bar very high, “Same Ol” goes hard with no bars wasted AT ALL! Mick tells us that he is still here making strides in the game without selling out or losing himself. Meant that I was expecting an EP speaking about Mick’s current (personal and professional) achievements and the highs and lows of being black in America.

So before I kickstart this blog with my first post and review, I’d like to wish Mick & Kendra a happy and stress-free union.
